AMAZING TRIP!!!!! My husband and I took the full-day Aialik Glacier Sea Kayaking, and it was so much more spectacular than we could have imagined. Adventure 60 is like having private tour guide and boat. My husband and I were with our guide and water boat captain. It was well worth the money! We got amazingly lucky weather to start. Blue skies and warm all day. It made the views amazing. Joel, our guide, was very laid back and fun. He had so many great stories, a ton of knowledge of the area, and was great at spotting whales! Our water-taxi captain, Raiel, was also great! He steered us to amazing views of humpbacks, orcas, puffins, sea lions... It was amazing! I reccomend taking the Orca Point! The glacier was amazing. We landed near it, launched the kayaks, and ate lunch on shore after paddling closer. After our (great) lunch, we set out to get closer. We say the glacier calving the whole time we were there, and paddling through the ice filled water was an experience like no other. Joel made sure we were not rushed, and took us for a paddled around a group of islands after we had our fill of the glacier. We say some seals, and some whales started surfacing right near our kayaks!!! The ride back was also great, beautiful, and fun. We HIGHLY recommend using Adventure 60, and if you go, ask for Joel! Maybe you will get lucky and get one of his amazing breakfast burritos!
