I love it here! I am currently taking Water Aerobics with Dana and Water Zumba with Tracy and they are both awesome instructors. The man and the two ladies at the front desk are always friendly and helpful. Dana's class is effective and relaxing. I consider Dana's class more strength training. Dana is always attentive and helpful. Tracy class is a high pace Zumba class in water and I love it! She plays music and gets your heart rate up at calorie burning levels! They could not have chosen two better instructors! Slight pet peeve is the the little kids allowed to swim in the middle of our Water aerobics class but that is it!

I have been going there since the park opened, and I rarely have an agreeable experience. The pool facilities are the only ones in the county, so all but one lane is reserved for swim teams. If you aren't lucky or know their schedule, you can't swim. The staff at the pool is also a pain; they are unfriendly and difficult with tedious pool rules. They always have events going on which further limits your access to any number of their amenities. The trails are also quite nice being wide and plentiful, but once again, use is a problem. The trails which most people run are very flat, but the land is so low that it is essentially a marshland. Unless you have special shoes for water, you instantly have weights for your feet. The parts that aren't in the marshlands are incredibly steep, so only extremely fit people could run them without stopping. The trails are good for horses (for which there is much manure) since the mud doesn't bother them, but for some reason, they have added a whopping .75 mile concrete walk way right down the main trail. I don't play, but I assume the baseball field are good. If you need to run, there are better parks in the area. If you need to swim, you're better off getting a gym membership.

Initially liked but now feel deceived because of extremely poor customer service. Went to meet wife and swim for physical therapy). Wife was there, angry and told me we are leaving. She stated that she was stopped from entering pool area and was told there was a half hour wait before able to swim, never asked which pool. Asked why she didn't come earlier (we both work, wasn't any of their business to ask) and saw them take funds from a daily customer (we bought yearly passes)...seemed like the money taker knew them. Obviously, not wha you know but who you know...was told there would always be two lanes for swimmers during swim team season. Swim team and lessons were taking all lanes. If you feel the need to be deceived, whole heartedly recommend. Will be passing this info. to Douglas Co. officials.

I purchased a membership here and have rarely been able to use the facilities. The park is closed EVERY holiday and most weekends. You might enjoy this facility if you don't work and can go during the week in the am hours.
