Thanks to the food, the service, the atmosphere--everything but the parking--the lunch we had for seven people was extraordinary. Cafe La Maude provided us all with an afternoon that we will hold close. Accomodating doesn't begin to describe the staff. Nor does delicious do justice to the meals. Thanks you, one and all. Thank you very very much.

What a wonderful quaint place to enjoy coffee and a nice meal! I come at least once a month for lunch and recommend the omelettes

This was my first visit to this restaurant and I am now a converted. The various dishes on the menu were all tempting and it was hard to go wrong. The mix of flavours was great as were the quality of the ingredients. Definitely a place I hope to go back to before leaving Philly in a few days.

The absolute best place to eat in philly. Just look at the reviews, even on other maps. Must get the orange juice and the coffee, but nothing I've had was less than incredible. It makes it worth coming to philly. The service and especially the hands on owner are very nice. If something is wrong, let them know. The atmosphere is clean, beautiful, intricate and warm but not bust looking. It's a calming place. Update: service and only gotten better and the food is still ridiculously, absurdly good.

I haven't lived in Philadelphia for over two years but I can tell you that whenever I visit, I make sure to schedule a meal at Cafe la Maude. The food is so delicious that no other lunch spot compares. I am a creature of habit, so I used to always order the french toast, but then something prompted me to try one of their salads and now I have sampled probably half of the menu. It is honestly all delicious. It is definitely a destination for me, but well worth it.
