My son first summer at Camp Sonshine was last summer 2013. He didn't talk and stayed to himself, but I wanted him to try camp experience so at the last minute I took a leap of faith and put him in the camp and that was the BEST thing I could have ever done for my son. He LOVED IT!!! When I picked him up all he did was talk about camp. He talked about camp for a whole year. I had to put him in Spring Break Camp because he couldn't wait for summer camp. The Christian base (BIG BONUS), safety, high energy counselors and multiple activities are all wonderful things I love about the camp. I give BIG THANKS to Camp Sonshine.

Yesterday was my 8 yr. old son first experience of Camp Sonshine and he looooooooooooooved it, Because I am a working mom, I wanted my son to send his spring break learning and having OUTDOOR fun. And sure enough camp sonshine provided ALLLLLL of that. when I picked him up he said mom this was the best Monday ever. So I don't care how many videos you watch on YouTube tell the camp is awesome or visit the website, just ask the people who opinion matter the KIDS. So I plan to attend the Parent /Family event on May 2nd to get more info about the summer camp. Thanks Camp sonshine you have lived up to your full potential.

This was the best camp I have ever known. The staff is amazing, full of energy and pleasant. They have wonderful attitudes at 8am as they waive to the parents driving in and at 4pm as the parents arrive. My child was dirty from head to toe and would pass out in the car on the way home. He LOVED it! He was 4 years old and I never felt worried about his safety or happiness. They do so many activities and my child had a wonderful time. Last summer the electricity was out for a week due to the storm. That did not stop the camp. They took the kids to the movies, Port Discovery, bowling, Chucky Cheese and so much more without asking the parents to pay a penny more. I LOVE this camp! I recommend it to my friends and anyone who has a child. They MUST have a Campsonshine experience at least one.

My daughters LOVE this camp. Last year they talked about the counselors and the activities until at least January, so I know they had a really good time. Most days they go to an activity away from the camp (we are at the Germantown location), like a pool, Butlers Orchard, the Silver Spring Camp Sonshine location, bowling, lasertag, etc. Several weeks during the summer there is a sleepover at the church or an overnight trip (depending on the age). I appreciate that the staff is courteous, helpful and attentive.
