Very happy customer! Repair cost was around $400 which is much less than I expected. Chuck was friendly and got it done a day early for me. I will be sure to let anyone I know about Certified Transmission. Honest, friendly and fair price.

I'm usually skeptical of reviews b/c they sound like an employee of the business wrote it. This time the reviews hold true. I had taken my vehicle to 3 other facilities to have it fixed and none of them were able to accomplish the job. When I took it to Certified Transmission in Grandview, they said they would take a look to see if they could diagnose the problem and give me a call, even though I didn't have an appointment. I had given them a significant amount of information so they knew where to start but called the next day. I had located the part for a lot less elsewhere but they gave me advice when purchasing. They were also willing to install the new part WITHOUT charging me anymore! Chuck, Jack and Dan were great. Also, Chuck gave me a follow-up phone call 2 days after I got my vehicle back to see how everything was functioning. How many places do that?! Thank you CT.

Does it bother anyone else that there are no 4 star or 3 star reviews? And that all of the 5 star reviews seems very professionally written with quite a few buzz words, without actual picture avatars of the "real" people who wrote them. Also the bad reviews talk about lack of honesty and integrity. How can I trust the 5 star reviews that don't seem to be written by normal people? Not to mention your neglecting to reply to the bad reviews, only thanking those who bragged on you.

Chuck and Jack and Dan did a great job diagnosing and fixing the transmission on my 2003 Nissan Altima. They went the extra mile to make sure the job was completed and properly repaired. I would recommend their shop to anyone. Thanks again guys!

Took my van here for a free transmission inspection, and left it all day... when I came back they told me that the free inspection was inconclusive, and that I would have to leave it for another day and pay an extra $150 to have them look at it closer and tell me the problem... it sat outside the shop all day, and when they finally took it in I went over and asked to see the open transmission with the pan removed They said "I can't let you in the shop for liability reasons". then they brought me metal shavings on a cloth and said "these show mechanical failure... you need a new transmission, which will cost $$$$$. I said, no... thats four times as much as I bought this van for, I can't afford that. I took it to another mechanic who gave me a much more reasonable price, and gave him a deposit and permission to install a re-built tranny. After we left he gave us a call and said this transmission is fine... it always shifts on time... I wouldn't touch it. I can replace it for you if you want, but it isn't necessary. I protested that CT told me there was metal shavings and mechanical failure, to which he replied "they tell that to everybody." The time before when I got another van checked out I was on a road trip and told them to leave the car outside with they keys locked inside. They then locked it in the shop with all our bags and passports inside, then went on vacation. I had to call the police to get my van back. I would stay away from this place... to many suspicious practices.
