Just having moved to the area, I chose a dentist that was close to me off a sign on the highway. Sure am glad that I did. The entire staff including the dentist have been great and I have had only good experiences with everyone. I hate to go to the dentist - but Dr. Lawson makes it bearable....if not enjoyable! I would highly recommend this practice. Debbie Evans

I always DREAD going to the dentist. But once I get there everyone at Colonial Heights Dental Group makes me feel so comfotable. So sweet and they want to make sure that you are comfortable. I live pretty far away, but would never consider going anywhere else!!!

I was recently diagnosed as having tmj symptoms by my ENT doctor after 9 weeks and nearly as many doctors. I've had a feeling of fullness in and around my ears that has been growing progressively more aggravating throughout this time and I have spent many sleepless nights trying to calm the associated tinnitus related to the condition. Once, finally, a doctor was able to tell me that it was my jaws as opposed to my ears, I began calling around the tri-cities for a dentist who could help. At first, I was disheartened as the only responses I could get were, "We don't treat tmj" or "You'll just have to see a surgeon so don't bother making an appointment with us." That's when I came across Colonial Heights Dental Group. They not only informed me that most tmj problems can be solved therapeutically, but only a very small percentage of them ever need surgery. (Information that supported my sleepless nights research into tmj disorder) They not only got me in to see Dr. Creech, a very intelligent and caring doctor, quickly but also worked around my very limited schedule as I am only in this area for a few weeks. This has been the best dentist office I have every been to and it is obvious that they care about their patients as they have performed admirably under a very tight timeline. I would encourage anyone with any sort of dental problem, especially tmj, to visit this office. They are friendly, experienced, and actually care about their patients. My jaws have felt far better and I can actually sleep at night again. Thank you so much CHDG.
