This place is awesome! Both the owners are extremely friendly and pretty knowledgeable on the reptiles. Yes this place is mostly for reptiles but they do sell items for dogs and cats as well. I mostly go here to buy my bearded dragon his food such as crickets and dubia roaches. Better than petsmart i know that for sure.

Love this place. The owners really care about the pets ther. It's clean and it has a wonderful selection. I make my way all the way from englewood just to buy feeders! This place rocks. They even have the snake from jungle book lol

I was very impressed by this shop, which specializes in reptiles, but also sells food for cats and dogs. The two owners tended the shop and were very friendly to my family even though it was clear that we would not buy anything during our visit. The shop is extremely clean, and the displays are done incredibly well. The animals looked healthy, and the owners seemed familiar with each of their personalities. Many of the animals are bred on site and they were happy to describe the process and also offer advice about enclosures. This seems like the nicest place to get a reptile in the chicago area.

Huge selection of reptiles and supplies! Staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I have visited many pet stores around Chicago, both speciality and big chain stores, and I have never gotten proper advice for all of my different pets until now. I have been given a lot of bad info from chain stores and the staff here helped me fix many of the mistakes I had made based on bad advice. I would highly recommend this store to anyone who needs advice for the care of their critters!

Great selection of reptiles and supplies. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. If you are looking for a place to buy a reptile or supply your current reptile, this is the one. They also have a decent selection of good quality dog food and cat food free of grains.
