The music fills the air and the wide open spaces of the store from the get go is inviting. There are a diverse culture of Hispanics, aka Mexican Americans, African Americans and a few Whites. There is a great abundance of fresh produce and fresh fish meat, deli meats and plenty of everything. But I often wonder why they play so much one sided music. Most Fiestas I have been in recently play a variety of Tejano Music. But this particular store seems to play mostly or at least by and largely Soul, Rhythm and Blues and light Jazz. Not once had I heard any Tejano Music and I once asked a produce man a question, why is this the case? He said the play the music that reflects most of the clientele but forgive me for saying this, there should be a ballance in the music no matter who is shopping there. We all love music but when you hear all of one steroptypical genre playing and not any of any others you feel like someone is being biased behind the choosing of the music. Let there be more variety to make everyone no matter what ethnicity there will always be a few songs that appeal to them. I prefer they play Pat Metheney or Smooth Jazz like the Oasis, but you know there's room for improvement and once a ballance is trully achieved in the music department then people will all feel more comfortable not feeling that the store is showing favoritism to one culture or another. I prefer some Santana, I prefer some Elvis Presley, but mainly I really would like a few songs sang by Willie Nelson. Give me a variety and I will like your store 1000 times more than I do already.
