I’ll be honest at the end of 2014 I was seriously considering leaving this gym and going somewhere else. My personal training sessions were turning into a nightmare with constant overbooking and scheduling confusions. It’s hard enough trying to embark on a new lifestyle but when the trainer is always double booked or trying to change pre-set times around, it’s very frustrating. Then one day, that trainer ended up leaving and there was a change in management so I thought I’d give them a second chance. After a break, I re-signed up for personal training and was paired up with Daniel K. The first few sessions were a shock to the system and I wasn’t sure I was going to make it. BUT, we persevered and I feel that I am now in the best workout rhythm I have ever been in. The schedule we set never changes, I can plan my week, I look forward to my work outs and best of all I am seeing some great results. I am even on the supplement plan now. When necessary, Daniel works around my schedule if there are special events I need to attend to ensure we don’t miss any sessions. The workouts are tough but they are fun and times flies by. He is a great personal trainer and I plan to keep going as long as I can. I also want to applaud the new Personal Training Manager Concetta. From what I could tell, she inherited a bit of a nightmare operation but she has hired and trained a great crew of personal trainers. It’s now 3 months since I re-signed up for PT sessions and you can feel the difference when you enter the gym. Concetta’s crew really seems to enjoy their work and it’s a great atmosphere to come into after a long day of work. She also worked with me to able to sign up for some extra sessions when I had a short term goal ahead of an event I was attending. It’s that kind of service that will keep me as a loyal Fitness Evolution customer. Way to go!

Been going here since it was Pinnacle Fitness, a top end gym with lots of amenities. Can't describe it that way anymore; gear and facilities falling apart, broken steam room, broken dryer machine, so no towel service, which they still charge me for - but that's their "business model" for sure, to be able to charge for services they don't or won't provide. The game here is to get you to sign up, then make it so you never come in. Because cancelling is a huge hassle; they will run you through a game of managers, appointments, additional fees and certified letters. Just terrible, to the point of fraud. I've had to open a case with SCC County Consumer Protections, BBB and my bank. I've had to cancel my credit card. Really avoid at all costs, you will NOT save any money.

They make you send a letter in the ****ing mail if you want to cancel your membership. I did this and they did not cancel my membership. I have now realized that 6 months later. They will not refund my money. They tell me I have to send another letter. And that it will take 30 days to process, so I'll be charged another month's fees. NEVER JOIN ANY FITNESS EVOLUTION.

Its a gym. Its cheap. What more do you want? Pay >$40 a month for 24 Hour (which is a lie, since most aren't even 24/7 gyms) and the same sales tactics. Get in, do your workout, get out, done. Others have done more on less, and this place is pretty clean and updated compared to other gyms I've been to. Yes, the cancellation is a hassle, just email corporate, send the letter and make it KNOWN that you will not be paying another fee when you want to cancel it. Its a gym, not a damn restaurant, you get out what you put in.
