The Oysters Are AMAZING I Had Fried Calamari and a oyster the only okay part was that it was dimly lit and it was 6:50 pm Best In Milford NH

After four tries I give up. Hostess took our chair away from table, never asked. Gyro was a lamb hamburger patty with tsasiki sauce, odd. Third time was OK. "Take Four" Gyro was flavorless, Greek salad was brought out with no feta, brilliant. Then we had to wait 20 minutes for a Shrimp Scampi dish. I'm done and so is my wife. If you like Martinis then eat here otherwise try something else.

The problem with Italian food is once someone has had real Italian food once, they are a self proclaimed expert on all things Italian. I've been living in southern Italy for almost 2 years, and can tell you that two restaraunts side by side could have similar menus but taste completely different. Italian food is more about ingredients and technique. That being said, Giorgios is some of the best Italian food in southern NH. Between the building's architecture to the art taken right out of Paestum, Italy, the atmosphere is sure to impress. I think there is entirely too much on the menu, but somehow every dish I've ever ordered has come out perfect. The cost is reasonable and service has always been top notch. I was concerned when I moved to Italy, Italian food in America would forever be ruined. Much to my surprise it's not, the quality of the ingredients in Italy completely trumps anything you'll find in the north east, but the effort and results of the cooks are nothing short of impressive. A trip to Giorgios is always planned when I'm in NH.

We called for a reservation and when they got here they said they didn't have it. I checked the phone number on my phone and I HAD dialed the correct phone number. There was nobody in the restaurant and they asked me if I still wanted to eat here since I didn't have a reservation. Weird. The service was slow and the waiter stopped coming after the first check after our meals were delivered. We had to have him called out of the backroom to get the check. (I think he had one other table) The meals took forever to come out of the kitchen. My lamb gyro meat was almost inedible it was overcooked so much and had chunks of inedible grizzle in it. (If we hadn't already been waiting so long and, I would have sent it back, but at that point I was hungry and had to get going) The bread was great. My son really liked his Fettucini Alfredo. The kids also liked their lemonade and virgin mohitos. If I weren't in a hurry, I would have turned around when I walked in at dinner time during the holiday season on a weekend and there was nobody there.

We went there the evening of the 4th. Disappointed. Seems like they had their b team on. We went encouraged by a coupon they sent us to join them this weekend. Our waiter, Raymond, was spacey, inattentive, and slow. The food was mediocre. Menu is hard to read in their low light. We've been there a few times, but may never go back even with the coupons they send us.
