We stayed 3 nights in Homer. Halcyon Heights was a beautiful place to stay. It was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Breakfast around the table meeting people from around the USA and the world made it a wonderful multicultural experience. It was an educational experience in itself with Stephen sharing some history of his family as-well-as local information and guidance. They were very accommodating assisting in every way to make our stay a good experience. Juxia is a wonderful cook and prepared excellent and tasty meals being very accommodating to my wife’s dietary needs. When the moment comes for us to return to Homer, we will definitely stay here. We highly recommend it.

I stayed at the Halcyon Heights B&B for 5 nights in May 2013 & had a wonderful time. I wanted an active week. Though I was traveling single (harder to line up activities as most have a 2-person minimum), Juxia was able to use her contacts to connect me with guides, water taxis and tours to get me kayaking in Peterson and China Poot Bay, out to Seldovia and hiking several trails in Kachemak Bay State Park. They also provided great tips on local restaurants (good and not so much) and sights to not miss for both my active and artistic interests. The view both over my sumptuous daily breakfast and from my deck was awesome, further enhanced by the local moose and smaller wild life. It was a great value and I won't stay anywhere else next time I'm in Homer.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Halcyon Heights in May of 2014 and, almost a year later, we are still talking about what a wonderful experience it was. The place was impeccably clean, the food delicious (and my dietary needs carefully looked after), and the hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. And oh! the view of Homer (especially from a hot tub!) We will definitely be staying there again. And hopefully soon!

We spent 3 nights at Halcyon. It was lovely. Steve and wife Xejew (spelling?) could not have been more gracious. Breakfasts were fantastic! The view, when it isn't raining, is nice. The first time we drove the hill it seemed long, but once we were acclimated, it was a breeze. Take their recommendations because they are knowledgeable. There are several rooms with different options. There was a moma moose and 2 babies right in the yard. Enjoy your time! Clare and Bill

Halycon Heights is a great place to stay while you are in Homer. Mom, grandma (90 yrs), and I (sean), have been coming here to Alaska for approximatly 7 years. Even though we have stayed at Halycon for 6 or 7 times, their service and willingness to help you out are unparallel!! Trully, this B&B; out of all the b&bs we stay at, is one of our trip highlights! They have great food, hot tub with a view, clean house, great view!! I am truly unbias, this place is a great place to stay! -Sean W.
