I had a reservation here booked on expedia and two weeks before we were scheduled to arrive I needed to cancel. Even though my booking did not allow any changes or cancelations the hotel staff were very accommodating and refunded my entire deposit. I will definitely book here again in the future.

I was very pleasently surprised at this hotel. Rooms were very spaceous, bright, and clean. With breakfast thrown in it was a great experience. The staff was professional and yet friendly. We attended a wedding at the Montauk Point Marina and found that the distance was not much of an issue but the traffic was a bit heavy. Allow some time if you're going east. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Hamptons/Montauk area plus there is a lot to do in the immediate area around the hotel.

I came here with a group of 10 College Students and we had the best time at this hotel! The staff has been kind and friendly to all, even when we became snowed in at the hotel their service was still delivered with a smile. Their recommendations for food in Riverhead and how to get into the city was appreciated. If I'm ever back in the North Shore I would definitely stay here, just hopefully in the summer!

A couple of years ago, in anticipation of Superstorm Sandy, my mother and I had to go to a hotel as we were required to evacuate. We went to one hotel for the night of the storm but despite their best efforts, the hotel lost power and it was not clear as to when they would get power back. My mother is disabled and staying in a hotel or anywhere else without power was not ideal. The next morning, I went to find a new place for us to stay and I went to the front desk of the Hyatt Place in Riverhead. Due to her mobility issues, I asked if I could see a room to ensure it could meet my mother's needs. They were more than happy to show a room to me.. the rooms are amazing by the way... The room and the hotel exceeded all of my expectations.. In particular, the employees/management made every effort to help us as well as the many others displaced by the storm... We were so grateful to all of them. Even when the employees/staff had no power when they went their own homes, they came to work and help all their guests... It is a great place to stay for pleasure as well as in case of necessity... Thank you so much for being so human during our stay... It was greatly appreciated..
