My husband and I took the 8.5 hour cruise (the Viewfinder) on June 22. It was the highlight of our entire Alaskan vacation!!! It was phenomenal!!! Whenever we spotted whales, seals, sea lions, various birds, and many other animals and landforms, our pilot did a great job of slowing or stopping the boat while we took our many pictures without rushing us. Very impressed with this!!!!! He was very knowledgeable of everything we saw and his assistant (I can't remember her name)was very sweet & went over and above to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I very highly recommend this cruise/captain/assistant!!!

We took the 6 hour tour to Holgate glacier today. We saw humpbacks breech, orcas, porpoises, otters, stellar sea lions, and puffins. Great caption and crew. We hd a child under 5 and the trip was a little long for her, but we came prepared with a few things for her to do and we did use those things. We added the salmon and prime rib meal. We were pleased with the food. Be sure to take precaution to prevent sea sickness. So many people became sick on board and it ruined the trip for them. Sea sickness can be prevented!!! One last thing, even though it was a warm sunny day for Alaska, it is COLD near the glacier. Come prepared!

We came in the off season and the only tour operating (from any company) was their 3 hour to Kenai Fjords. Weather was crappy on and off, but even so the tour and boat crew made it worth it. The cruise was a well done, we saw plenty of wildlife, and the variety of scenery was fantastic. Don't let the front desk crew scare you off, what they lack in charm, the boat tour and friendliness of the boat crew totally make up for it.

Took us on a stunning 6 hours tour of calving glaciers, humpback whales, orcas, and more. Many of our group got sea sick, but they really tried to help folks out. Salmon & rice at lunch were pretty good.

This is the best tour to see the Glaciers! I picked it over the Kenai Fjords Tour company because it goes to the two largest glaciers and also the all you can eat prime rib and salmon buffet! It is well worth the extra fee. I also chose it because it spends more time on the water viewing the wildlife. You can eat and watch the wildlife and views as you are traveling. The staff are the best. Request seating at a table. You will not be assigned a particular seat at the table, you will just share it with others. You will be getting up and down to view from the deck and from the table. Everyone gets a chance to view from the window but for the best shots, you will want to be up on the deck. Hoped this helped. Enjoy!
