The staff was warm and friendly. The waiting area was clean and pleasant. Service was prompt. I was in and out in under 40 minutes.

Everyone at the Norton Immediate Care Center was really friendly…from the front desk to the nurses and doctors. everyone was kind, gentle, and understanding. Had a great experience. they accept passport after 4pm which is helpful because the little clinic next door in kroger does not.

I showed up at this ICC about 15 minutes before open. I was greeted and let in before the facility opened and walked through protocol because this was my first visit. It took about 30 minutes get all my information in and it was smooth sailing. The x-ray techs and the nurses/nurse aides were super nice and friendly. When the Nurse Practitioner, Laura Donahue, came in, she made me feel at ease and took time to explain her thoughts on my illness and we chatted while she examined me. I got a prescription called in and was out in about an hour. I have read reviews about how people have horrible experiences here. This was not the case for me. I do think attitude of the patient has something to do with the experience you get. I am fortunate that I have a small infection and am in only minor pain. I know that my pain is not even close to the worst and I treat it accordingly. If you are in serious, life-threatening pain, you need to go to an ER. If you can be pleasant and patient, this place is a godsend.

My first visit to the Highlands ICC this week was excellent. The staff were very kind, and they even offered me a soft drink while I waited. How many times have you been able to be served a Sprite while you wait to see the doctor? I had to wait for quite a while to see the doctor, but the nurse came and checked on me while I was waiting to see if I needed anything, which was so unusual and nice. Also, when the doctor did arrive, she was very thorough and did not seem to rush at all. She took her time with me and answered any questions I had, without giving me the least sense that she was wanting to rush to the next patient. I was very pleased with my visit. I felt like the staff were really taking into account that the patients there don't feel well, and can really benefit from some added kindness. Very refreshing!

I just moved to Louisville two weeks ago and live in the St. Matthews area. I had come down with a couple illnesses since I've been here, and needed to go to the doctor. I hadn't had time to find a primary care physician, so I went to the Highlands Urgent Care. Everyone there was so friendly, and Dr. Mao diagnosed me right off the bat, ordered the neccessary tests, and got me going on my way. He also had his staff call a primary care physician for me so that I could follow up with them later in the week. Very caring staff and great service from all!
