Olivette Lanes

A true bowling atmosphere, the likes of which is going extinct across the country. What makes the place is the classic wood lanes. It kills me that wood is going extinct in favor of the synthetic garbage that takes all the enjoyment out of it for me. If it's not on wood it's not real bowling, as far as I'm concerned. The look and sound is a reminder of how much fun bowling used to be, when you could actually hear the ball rolling and the sound of pins on impact. At modern "centers," you could hear a pin drop if not for music blaring in the background. You may as well be bowling on glass at pins made of cotton. If not for the music, Brunswick Zone Chesterfield could be a library. I don't know how much longer Olivette will continue to be the last refuge for the serious bowler, but I'm going to enjoy it while I can.

I work at an Internet Marketing company down the street from Olivette Lanes so we tend to plan outings there often. Each time we have come in to bowl, we've always had a great time! Their facility is very clean, the staff is always friendly and accommodating, and the food tastes great too! I would highly recommend Olivette Lanes for a corporate event/party! I'm sure we'll be back in to bowl soon!

This IS the BEST place to go if you want to bowl. Staff are polite and experts in bowling and their job and the food rocks. I'd recommend the pizza there to anyone. The pricing is also very reasonable unlike other bowling allies.

Great place! Great staff! My daughter has been going here for 4 years with the Kids Bowl Free program. She also had her 8th birthday party here. We love this place!

Love this place. Its a little old, but clean and the people are friendly. The food and drinks are good and not expensive. If you sign up for their newsletter online, you get great coupons!
