These ladies can make good sandwiches! Neat atmosphere, too, it's in an old gas station at a little country crossroads near a vineyard.

Great find. The croque monsieur and andouille sandwich were amazing. We will be back to grab some sandwich's for our next picnic. The owner is really awesome. Go support your local small business and eat some great food at the same time.

Went for a weekend trip to do some wine tastings around Charlottesville and Salt was highly recommended by a friends who are friends with the owner. The owner is so sweet and friendly and the food is amazing! The sandwiches (I had the gruyere, fig, and bacon sandwich) are unique and are the perfect thing to get before wine tastings. It is very close to Jefferson Vineyard (which was my favorite on this wine trip) and also close to other wineries in the area.
