Short story: one of the two best "dentists" I've ever gone to. And the other "best dentist" (my current "normal" dentist) referred me to Dr. Kissel. Long story: Dr. Kissel himself is extremely professional, efficient, kind, patient, and thoroughly explains exactly what the procedure entails without being longwinded about it. The procedure I had was relatively fast and painless (I'm a 35 year old guy, had two microscope skin grafts, one on a lower front tooth, and one on my rear-most upper tooth), and my recovery was also painless and free of complication (I had to take care of my mouth with special brushes and not eat certain kinds of food for a bit, but it was fine). I'm very happy with the results & after three months I'm basically back to normal. Besides Dr. Kissel and the procedure, the office staff is also wonderful, super friendly while being quick and to the point. Couldn't recommend Dr. Kissel & his office more.

I was in a terrible racquetball accident (I was hit in the mouth with a racquet). One tooth was knocked out entirely, and the root was cracked well above my gum line. Most of the tooth next to it (my incisor) was gone. Dr. Kissel repaired my mouth flawlessly. He reconstructed the jagged remains of my incisor, making it look just as good, if not better than it was before. He then performed surgery on the adjacent tooth, removed the broken root, and inserted a temporary tooth that blended seamlessly with the rest of my smile. The surgery was quick and totally painless. I didn't even experience the slightest discomfort in the days following the surgery. I highly, highly recommend Dr. Kissel!

I was scared to death of getting two implants at the same time. I was absolutely amazed by the result: no swelling, no infection, no pain and a caring team of the highest caliber.

Fantastic doctor and a very nice man. Nearly painless surgery with just local anesthetic. Outcome exceeded my expectations. Improved gum tissue between teeth, which was more than I thought he would be able to do. Prices are reasonable for his level of expertise (and the fact that it's NYC). You won't find someone better at microsurgery for the gums and other periodontal work. I can't say a single thing about him that I didn't like or that wasn't at or above my expectation. Even his office manager Martina is great. All around an A+ operation. Great results. I will definitely be back if and when I need further work on my gums.

Dr. Kissel is an extremely good dentist. He made my implants feel like a routine checkup. Great bedside manner and a very clean office. I even had to call him on a weekend and he was more than helpful. Just a fantastic experience.
