I was an acupuncture skeptic, but no more. Hon was able to relieve pain and weakness that I had developed in both legs that made standing up, sitting down and walking very difficult. After two months of treatments, it's gone. Hon is a very compassionate man who is dedicated to the art of Chinese medicine. He is also a man of integrity, has a great sense of humor and has had an interesting life that you can read about in his book 'Paths Less Traveled'. Hon Lee is a very unique individual that you will immediately recognize the first time you meet him. His calm demeanor coupled with his professionalism and caring attitude put you in a very peaceful place. I sought him out for an unbearable sciatic nerve problem which has resulted me to not be able to sleep at all for 4 straight days. I could not even lie down. It came on sudden with no warning. I did not want to go the surgery route for sure so I set up a meeting with Hon. After two (2) visits in succession in the same week my pain had subsided to the point I could sleep and function at work. The relief was immediate and effective. After about 6 months of treatment my pain had fully gone away. I am still a weekly patient of Hons but now focused on more generalized well being. While Hon's acupuncture skills are superb that is not his greatest strength in my opinion. His character, demeanor, and caring attitude sets him apart and brings a feeling of peace and calm during each visit. Hon Lee is the definition of the gentle healer. I had previous experience with acupuncture prior to meeting with Hon the first time so I had a general idea of what to expect. His treatment far surpassed my expectations or hope for pain relief. His calm, observant demeanor and extensive knowledge is key to success in healing. . Since beginning treatment a few months ago for pain, the pain has subsided tremendously. I am continuing treatment to address other issue for over all well-being. Hon is an educator, generously sharing what he has learned in his practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is not an exaggeration to say that Hon Lee’s acupuncture treatments are so beneficial that I make time in my schedule to keep going on a regular basis. I came to know Hon after meeting with two fertility doctors and being told that for no apparent reason, I'd become infertile. Since I previously had a child with absolutely no issue, and it was only a few years later, I hoped there was something that I could do with natural healing that would increase our chances for conceiving again, without fertility treatment. I started seeing Hon in Mid May. During my first visit with Hon, he was so kind and reassuring. He asked that I give him at least 90 days in order to get my body back on track. He provided me recommendations on eating, sleeping and relaxation techniques. I completed a training class with Hon and acupuncture twice a week. On July 9th, less than two months after beginning our work together, my husband and I learned that we were expecting! We were overwhelmed with excitement and thankfulness. I am now approaching my 24th week of pregnancy and our baby is progressing well. I am thankful to Hon for his professionalism, wisdom, and kindness throughout our journey to parenthood again. Suffering from chronic insomnia and neck pain, I have been treated by numerous different acupuncturists in the last 5 years. In my experience, some doctors just have that magic touch to detect and heal injury, pain and other ailments. Dr. Lee is one of those. He clearly loves holistic medicine and healing, and is extremely gifted at his profession. When my husband's back pain from his herniated disc flares up, one or two visits to Dr. Lee and he feels much better. We cannot recommend Dr. Lee more.
