    My husband and I had our dessert at Sugaree today and it was fantastic. The wedding cakes looked beautiful, but after lunch at Nora's down the street (also yummy!) we were more interested in their excellent brownies and boston cream pie-ettes (just enough for one and one "just want a taste"). The two women who greeted us were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about local foods. Both of our desserts were delicious and all the others we saw looked beautiful and tasty too. The most difficult part of going to Sugaree is deciding which delectable treat to get.

    For my mothers 80th Birthday we had an absolutely beautiful white cake with butter icing made by the Sugaree. As good as the cake looked the flavor was even better. I never write reviews unless there is something very right or very wrong about an experience, service or product and I can honestly say these folks know what they are doing. If you aren't happy with the Sugaree's cakes and pies then there is probably something wrong with you.

    This place has the best pies on Friday! They also did an absolutely fantastic job on my wedding cake. Baking done right!
