Having visited the Pitcher Inn many times throughout the past five years, I can say with confidence that it is one of the best resorts that me and my family have stayed at. During our multiple stays there, we stayed in the "Ski" themed room, and it was so magnificent that we wouldn't stay in any other room. The restaurant at the inn is fantastic and our family always loved to gather around the shuffleboard table and dart board during the evening. We also took advantage of Sugarbush Ski Area which featured a cute ready-to-eat waffle stand. Ari, the general manager could not have been more helpful as well. All-in-all, we loved our previous stays at The Pitcher Inn and are planning to return for the 2014 Christmas Season!

You get what you pay for! You know its a nice inn when the room's don't have numbers but names! We stayed in the "Ski" room and it was nicer than what hollywood could have built for a background set from the 1950's. Impeccable, beautiful, top notch!!!

Wanted a very special place so we went for a 50th birthday dinner in the pub. It was spectacularly bad! The server vacillated from inattentive to rude. The Calamari was just empty fried bits -- couldn't find the squid. The steak dinner plate looked so unappetizing with a messy pile of very, very greasy french fries with a piece of red-raw steak falling off the plate. (I had ordered medium.) The bread was dry, the white bean dip had no taste. The wine was fine, the salad was okay. I do have to say that the pickled carrots and cabbage that came as a garnish with the non-existent calamari were delicious. One bright spot -- The Sticky-Toffee Pudding. So very, very disappointing and a bad way to celebrate 50!!

We had dinner at The Pitcher Inn (downstairs, The Tracks) and it was great little dining area with great food. Very warm atmosphere and wonderful service. We had the steak, kale salad, and risotto cake. All were very good. Would definitely come back!

Wonderful inn to celebrate 60th birthday with family. Intimate, elegant, and special. Dining was an elegant pleasure - time, space, service, quiet, and food that was special and memorable. Don't miss the best blueberry pancakes we ever had for breakfast. Lots more good stuff....
